Our Restaurant
The Drink:
Full leaf, organic and fair-trade minded tea selections change regularly to show off what is innovative, intriguing and inspiring about tea – both hot and iced versions. Multiple service styles can be as relaxed as a covered cup or cool refresher to as adventurous as a “flight” of tea selections. A special thanks to David Jones for helping us craft our initial selection of wines and to Veronica Luquis for bringing our selection into a sustainable focus. We also offer beer, organic juices and sparkling water.
Our Take On Tea
The Food:
Using local, seasonal ingredients and a touch of traditional cast-iron cookery, house made soups and inspired salads meet comforting, layered hot dishes with a cozy sense of warmth and welcome. Weekend brunch waffles are made on 19 th century irons. Our menus change subtly but they also change frequently and we would be happy to e-mail you a sample of our lunch dinner, weekend brunch or afternoon menus.
The Desserts:
Authentic classics with a rustic bent, akin to sweets you wish your mother made. Farm fresh galettes, butter cakes and puddings are featured specialties.
The Room:
Both drinkers and diners feel at home surrounded by rustic, yet contemporary touches such as hand hewn tables, plank wood flooring and local, rotating modern art. Handmade glass flows in a steel mosaic across a natural light filled room- conducive to savoring both food and drink.
